Autism Awareness
Northern Ireland has been at the forefront for autism awareness for many years however the situation for families facing autism remains the same. The focus should be on effective intervention for individuals with autism to help them to reach their full potential and provide an effective support mechanism for their families.
Dr. Nichola Booth from PEAT talks to NVTV about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to help dispel some of the misconceptions on the condition.
